The IT life cycle<\/strong> describes the phases from the creation to the decommissioning of IT products, systems and platforms. An evaluation from the perspective of the IT life cycle has several advantages. It creates a more complete<\/strong> and therefore more sustainable<\/strong> basis for decision-making<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In this seminar, efficient solutions<\/strong> for determining the life cycle costs of IT products<\/strong> are presented. These can be the result of in-house development<\/strong> or the introduction of standard software<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Module 4: IT Portfolio<\/h1>\n\n

The use of IT in companies aims to increase<\/strong> the value of the company<\/strong>. The task of IT portfolio management<\/strong> is to coordinate<\/strong> these tasks within the organization. <\/p>\n\n

IT portfolio management acts as a bridge<\/strong> between strategic<\/strong> and operational<\/strong> planning<\/strong>. Its task is to establish the link between corporate goals and IT tasks (business \/ IT alignment), to plan and control IT products (IT product portfolio management) and IT projects (IT project portfolio management).<\/p>\n\n
